The Quiet World by Jeffrey McDaniel
In an effort to get people to look into each other’s eyes more, and also to appease the mutes, the government has decided to allot each person exactly one hundred and sixty-seven words, per day. When the phone rings, I put it to my ear without saying hello. In the restaurant I point at chicken noodle soup. I am adjusting well to the new way. Late at night, I call my long distance lover, ...

It starts with a man, zoom in on his upper body. “Make the most of your work out.” Pan out and he is on an elliptical, watching a movie from his phone. Cut to next scene. “Make most of your lunch break.” And a woman watching Hulu+ on her iPad appears. “And make most of your family time.” Final scene, a...

During group training runs, don’t let anyone run alone. 5. Keep promises, especially ones made to yourself. 6. When doing group runs, start on time no matter who’s missing. 7. The faster you are the less...

Starbucks Shenanigans with Johohohohodumdeedum.
I’m at Starbucks and a few things to be noted:
1) Starbucks at LCF has good lighting. Sunlight pouring in, large cherrywood benches, and tea. Perfect studying ambience.
2) The Hongs are awesome. Spent the morning with Joanna & Daisy and dinner with Daniel.
3) Major tumblr spam. About iPads and Macbook airs. What is going on???
4) Happy Friday!
